Alternatives hurricane protection

Window safety / security film

This system is virtually invisible, it is a film that is applied to the glass that is currently installed, the installer should strengthen the aluminum window frame anchors, with expansive and steel fittings to have an optimum performance when an event.

The window frame will need to be reinforced and sealed with structural silicone once the safety film has been installed. This film will provide up to 10 times more strength to the glass and in case a proyectile hits the window and breaks it, the film will help the window stay in its place not allowing glass debris from flying all over the property.
